In 2007 (I think) I become a Bachelor of the Arts in Multimedia Design.
Creatively, I was not achieving what I had imagined I would be.
I enjoyed using and learning the interactive and motion mediums for the rich creative outlets they are but I had graduated without a solid understanding of the basic design principles and I hardly drew anything, anymore.
I was isolated and stuck. Sometimes repurposing other people’s graphics, continually unconvinced by mine.
One day I became occupied with drawing a repeating circular pattern from one of my cousin’s illustrations. It kept me occupied and later, absorbed. The decorations continued (and continue) to develop in interest and complexity. Observation and serendipity are my friends.
Now I hope (I want never gets) to merge Interactivity, Movement and Adornation together into a happy good time.
